Prawn fishing is a unique recreational activity in Taiwan. At the prawn-fishing sites known in Chinese as 釣蝦場, there would be one or several pools, where people sit by and use fishing rods to catch prawns. and after fishing, you can grill the prawns you caught and eat them for free!

This prawn-fishing site is the only one in downtown Taipei. The size is smaller and there is only one prawn pool, but the owner is quite friendly and always willing to assist unexperienced fishers. If you are a newcomer of prawn fishing, this place may be the most suitable one for you!
