Kurama-dera Temple

Hike to Kurama from Kifune, or vice-versa, to immerse in possibly the best hike for pictureque natural beauty. It's an easy, 2-3 hours hike. The temple will either be your end point from Kifune trail or the start, where the main hall offers a gorgeous view out over the mountain. Mt. Kurama is known to be the birthplace of 'reiki', a type of “energy therapy” which uses spiritual elements. Definitely peace out here after your hike.
